Aramid motorcycle jeans: complete Invictus guide from €125

Aramid motorcycle jeans: the definitive guide to choosing yours

If you still ride a motorcycle in regular jeans, there’s something you should know: a conventional pair of jeans is destroyed in 0.6 seconds of sliding on asphalt. Half a second. At 50 km/h. Your skin goes with them.

Aramid motorcycle jeans (Kevlar) solve that. They look like normal jeans — same look, same daily use — but they have aramid fibres that resist abrasion in the event of a fall. CE protectors in the knees and hips. And reinforced stitching where it matters.

And the Invictus ones start at €125.

What is aramid and why does it matter?

Aramid (best known by the commercial name Kevlar, from DuPont) is a synthetic fibre with a tensile strength five times higher than steel. In motorcycle gear it is used in two ways:

  • Aramid lining: Aramid fabric panels sewn inside in the impact zones (knees, hips, rear). Good protection, but only where the panels are.
  • Single-layer with interwoven aramid: The aramid fibre is woven directly into the denim. The entire garment is protective. It’s the most advanced technology.

The complete Invictus trousers range

Invictus offers 9 motorcycle trouser/jean models, from waterproof to single-layer maximum protection:

Model Price Technology What makes it special
Django €169 Single-layer interwoven aramid Maximum protection. Aramid throughout the garment. Top of the range
Billy The Kid 2.0 €159 Waterproof membrane Ride in rain without changing trousers
Wyatt Earp €149 Water resistant (DWR) Hydrophobic treatment, perfect for daily use
Ripped €149.95 Interior aramid Urban ripped look. Looks casual, protects for real
Tombstone €139.95 Single-layer aramid Men and women. Full protection at a mid price
Eastwood €139 Aramid + CE Classic cut, the range all-rounder
Wayne €135 Aramid + CE Modern slim cut, men and women
Cargo €135 Aramid + CE Cargo style with side pockets. Green or black
Nairobi €125 Waterproof membrane The cheapest. Integrated waterproofing for €125

Single-layer or lined? The difference matters

At Invictus, the Django and Tombstone models are single-layer: aramid is interwoven into the denim. This means:

  • The whole garment protects, not just predefined impact zones
  • They are thinner and more comfortable than lined ones (one layer vs two)
  • Panels don’t shift — protection is integrated into the fabric

The other models use aramid lining in key areas (knees, hips, rear). It is excellent and more affordable protection.

Do I need waterproof motorcycle trousers?

If you use the motorcycle as daily transport and don’t change trousers to ride, yes. The Billy The Kid 2.0 (full waterproof membrane) and Nairobi (integrated membrane) models are designed exactly for that: arriving at work dry without looking like you came on a bike.

The Wyatt Earp offers a middle ground with DWR (water resistant) treatment: repels light rain but is not fully waterproof. Perfect for those who don’t want a membrane but also don’t want to get soaked in an unexpected shower.

Standard CE protectors

All Invictus jeans include as standard:

  • CE protectors on knees (height-adjustable)
  • CE protectors on hips
  • Reinforced stitching in stress zones

The protectors are removable, so you can take them out to wash the trousers or use them in “street” mode if you’re not riding the bike one day.

Sizes: men, women and large sizes

Most models are available in men’s and women’s sizes. The Wayne and Tombstone models have specific versions for each gender with adapted cuts.

Sizes generally range from XS to 4XL, depending on the model. Invictus is one of the few brands that offers real large sizes in motorcycle gear.

€125 for motorcycle jeans? Really?

Yes, really. The Invictus Nairobi costs €125, includes a waterproof membrane and CE protectors. It is probably the cheapest motorcycle jean on the market worth buying.

And if you go up to €169 with the Django, you get state-of-the-art single-layer technology — the same as brands like Fuel Motorcycles or PMJ charge above €250.

Free shipping on all orders. First size exchange free. And if you’re in Madrid, you can try them on at The Urban Rider (Francisco de Sales 38), the official Invictus store.

Your legs are worth more than €125. Protect them.
