Single-layer or lined? The difference matters
At Invictus, the Django and Tombstone models are single-layer: aramid is interwoven into the denim. This means:
- The whole garment protects, not just predefined impact zones
- They are thinner and more comfortable than lined ones (one layer vs two)
- Panels don’t shift — protection is integrated into the fabric
The other models use aramid lining in key areas (knees, hips, rear). It is excellent and more affordable protection.
Do I need waterproof motorcycle trousers?
If you use the motorcycle as daily transport and don’t change trousers to ride, yes. The Billy The Kid 2.0 (full waterproof membrane) and Nairobi (integrated membrane) models are designed exactly for that: arriving at work dry without looking like you came on a bike.
